Dawn Wojcik getting ready for Saber's environmental course!

The DELMARVA WORKING DOG GROUP extends to you and your K-9 partner, best wishes for a safe and rewarding training year. Interested in our working dog group? Feel free to contact us and to have a free assessment for the dog you hope to use. Co-founders Andy Larrimore (R) and Howard Gaines III (L). Yeah we have smiles on our face...even with the 15 degree training temps!

Founded in January 2006, the DELMARVA WORKING DOG GROUP started with three folks who enjoyed training: Andy Larrimore, Vernon Murray, and Howard Gaines III. The group was formed from an interest in working dogs, a foundation of family-friendly fun, a love of working dogs, and working dog training. Our desire is to grow into an accomplished working dog organization. We have withstood many "tests" over the past several years. Our vision then as it is today, to continue to provide the best possible K-9 training, use exciting and challenging training scenarios, provide handler education, and offer an outlet where folks enjoy training.

The DELMARVA WORKING DOG GROUP is blessed to have two knowledgeable and skilled canine trainers/helpers. Andy Larrimore and Howard Gaines III are the primary training instructors for this working dog group. They bring to the club a wealth of K-9 knowledge, skills, and safety. Collectively, they offer backegrounds from law enforcement, the military working dog venue, sport Schutzhund and Schutzhund-DVG/decoying and qualified training director areas, basic and advanced obedience training, certification in AKC-CGC training and testing, and more. Above all else, we work hard to give you and your animal the safest training environment possible and do it in a family-friendly club environment. No stress.

Obedience...testing the "down" command in many venues is important. Veron was working with Yago before a protection session.

Bite Suit Work for Advanced Dogs. Not all dogs can do this level of training. As a team, the dog and handler must work together. Here, K-9 Rock was doing back bites with decoy, Andy Larrimore.
