Dear
Howard, I would like to take this opportunity to express to you and Andy Larrimore my gratitude
for everything you two have done for me personally. As you know, up to 2007, I was not a dog owner nor a fan of dogs.
Then, I was robbed four times in less than one year. Two of those times I had an alarm system, but still no dog.
Since I purchased my Belgian Malinois, I've been robbed a total of ZERO times. Furthermore, my neighbors sleep easier
knowing the type of dogs I have and the training we do, which brings me to my next point. When I purchased my first dog,
I had no idea what I was doing. I ended up with show lines. I didn't know the difference between show and working.
Once it became apparent that show lines were NOT what I wanted, I began my research. I read everything and called everyone
from Schutzhund trainers to the backyard trainers. It was obvious these people were either out for the club money or
rip me off. Then I came across your ad. Andy invited me to your place (and he even game me directions) and
he explained the differences between show and working lines and the differences between training styles. He knew I didn't
know squat then (and I still don't) but he treated me as if I was his equal in the dog world and still does. I came
out with my show line dogs and I was more than disappointed. However, you and Andy kept in touch with me and help me
find a good dog, Felon. This dog has taken us from one end of training styles to the other and you two have adjusted
with him and informed me on what I should do to get him to his peak performance. In the past 30 days, this dog has come
alive in ways none of us ever expected. His accomplishments would not have been if it weren't for you and Andy.
Thank you! I must say I've never
met a more interesting and genuine group of people in my life. Delmarva Working Dog Group is my second family.
I have worn out your phone and Andy almost had to purchase a new phone I called so much. Not once did either of you
complain and you took my calls with sincerity to help me. Thank you! I never thought 24 hour tech support existed
for dog training. Maybe it didn't until I showed up but either way, thank you! Thank you for all the efforts and dedication towards
Felon's development and I look forward to bringing future working dogs to Delmarva Working Dog Group for some excellent fine
tuning, the best around. Your friend always, Ernie
Adkins

I have been involved with K9 training since 1997 when I purchased my first Rottweiler. I began training
with the military police K9 handlers and I was hooked. I not only learned how to train but I also learned a great deal about
decoying. I departed the Marines in 2000 and began my law enforcement career. I continued training other peoples dogs and
I became more involved with the Rottweiler breed. Since then I have owned several Rottweilers and trained them for various
task. I am currently a police K9 handler utilizing a Rottweiler for patrol and narcotics detection. I constantly attend training
courses in an effort to help improve not only myself but others that I train with. I have attended and passed the following

As a co founder of the DELMARVA
Working Dog Group, I have enjoyed training and working with Howard Gaines. We have a nice variety of members at all different
levels. It is a family friendly environment with a positive attitude about training. Each member is willing to learn and help
